living at grandpa's

when we closed on our house after selling it, we had planned to stay with my awesome in-laws for 12 days.  it ended up being more like a month.  some would think that it would have been a trying experience having to live with their in-laws, but we actually had a fun time!  the kids loved playing outside, and we actually did that most all day long.  my in-laws have this awesome front yard and circle driveway that's pretty much always shaded at all parts of the day.  the kids would ride their bikes up and down the circle drive, and they would play in this water table grandpa has and swing on the swing set and play in the sand box.  the older girls were still in school for a couple weeks still when we first moved in, so it was just me and molly and abby home playing.  we had a blast!

lucy had her first piano recital while we were out there.  the older girls had their field days at school.  we got to go to a new ward for church and meet new kids before moving into yet another ward a few weeks later.  i tried to keep us all busy so we wouldn't get too antsy about moving to our new house (it seemed to be taking forever for everything to come together), so we went to the library alot, and i took the kids to the park several times a week once school was out.  we had a lot of fun, and i have the best in-laws ever!  they made it so easy on us while we pretty much took over their house for a month!
