maggie or poly?

look at her hugging that thing! i'm so glad she likes it so much! especially since it only cost me $1!
i told them to lay down next to the dolphin so i could show how big it is compared to them. jayne just couldn't lay still enough because she wanted to see the picture on the camera. so, after 3 tries, this is what we got!

Lucy has been wanting a "boat" (meaning some kind of blow up toy to sit on in the water) to have to take swimming ever since julie smith's birthday party, so we went to my favorite store (dollar tree) to see what they had. we found a big inflatable dolphin that lucy just loves! it took me 10 minutes to blow it up (by mouth, mind you), and then lucy and jayne were playing ring around the rosies with it, and lucy was riding it around like a horse. the thing is bigger than lucy is, so it's kinda funny to see her carrying it around the house. we haven't even had a chance to use it in the water yet, but lucy already calls it her best friend. in the video, she calls the dolphin maggie (you'll appreciate that dianne), but earlier today she told me she had named it poly. so, maybe it's both?

you're probably wondering if we know whether we're having a boy or a girl yet. and the answer is no, and we won't be having another sonogram until after we get back from our trip to washington. i have an appointment scheduled for the 15th of july, so we still have a few more weeks until we find out, but i will let you know!
