Well, i did it! Abby Gayle Bauer was born Monday, December 20th at 5:03am. She weighed 6lbs 13oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. We went in to the hospital at 10pm, so it was a long night, but so worth it! She's way cute, and is right now on a regular schedule of being up all night and sleeping all day.

so, i'm scheduled to go in to be induced sunday night at 10pm. labor only lasted 2 hours when i had molly, so maybe this one will be even faster! think happy thoughts!

We decided to make a graham cracker "gingerbread" house since we don't care for the ready to assemble kits you can buy at the store. have you ever tried to actually eat one of those? i don't know if you're supposed to, but richie and i did try one year and nearly broke a tooth!

so, we used graham crackers and strawberry (from a can) frosting. i was just too lazy to make frosting, but it turned out just fine. we decorated the house with skittles and gummy bugs, and the kids loved it! we might have to make a tradition out of this!

My super awesome best friend, Brittany, took some family photos of us this morning. I thought they turned out pretty cute! Which ones do you like the best? There are 3 categories: the girls together, me and richie together, and family shots.

I can't believe my molly is 2 years old! She is the cutest little booger, if i do say so myself, and has the spunkiest (that's a word, right?!) personality! She changes her clothes atleast 3 or 8 times a day, doesn't usually let me do anything with her hair (hence the 'do' in all the pictures), is a bully to her older sisters, but can also appear to be the most innocent/precious little girl. i love it! She's talking up a storm, and loves to sing "happy birthday". She's definately not my baby anymore!

halloween festivities

This past week was a busy one! We had all sorts of halloween festivites to go to, and they were all so much fun! Wednesday, we went to a halloween party at the library for story time. The kids got to wear their costumes, and go trick or treating around the library.

Thursday night, we had a halloween carnival/pumpkin carving contest at our church. There were all sorts of games for the kids to play, including a cake walk (that i helped run).

Saturday night, we went to the trunk or treat at our church. The kids wore costumes again and they went trick or treating around the parking lot. The girls got tons of candy, and had tons of fun, too!

I helped my sister throw a last minute birthday party for my nephew this afternoon. It was a lot of fun. We did a bunch of relay races, busted up a pinata the girls and I made, and had yummy cake! I think the kids enjoyed themselves. I know i did!
