Jayne loves preschool! Recently, she's gotten to go on a field trip to HEB (a grocery store here) to learn about eating healthy, and she got to go to the local pumpkin patch!

We went to Fiddlesticks Farms this morning, and had a lot of fun! they have a corn maze out there (several, actually), and we got to go on a hay ride and pick out some pumpkins from their little pumpkin patch. the kids loved it! it's a little pricey to get in, but we'll definately go again next fall!

Richie and I got married 6 years ago today! he makes me so happy, and i am so glad that we are stuck together for the rest of eternity!

The Fall Festival

We took the girls to the fall festival at the library this morning. they got to wear their halloween costumes (Molly-ladybug, Jayne-rock star, Lucy-ballerina), and make trick or treat bags (which looked like scare crows), play fun fall-themed carnival games, and trick or treat for candy around the library. there was even a guy who made balloon animals there as well (both lucy and jayne chose poodles). it was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed it. i will definatley have to make some improvements to jayne's rock star costume. i did make her a microphone out of an old 1 pound hand weight, though!

Some ladies from church (and myself) get our kids together twice a week and have a 2 hour long preschool at the mom's houses. we all take turns teaching every week. i got my chance this week, and it was a lot of fun! now, i didn't take this picture, it wasn't even at my house, infact, this wasn't even taken on my day to teach. but it's the only one i've got of all the kids.

Our first viable pumpkin! remember a few weeks ago when i posted a picture of our first pumpkin in our pumpkin patch? well, this is that pumpkin! i'm so excited that we actually got one to grow, that i don't even care if we don't get anymore! however, it does look like we'll probably get one more decent-sized one.

richie and i will be celebrating our 6 year anniversary next weekend, and i was just thinking about how far we've come. when we got married, neither one of us drove, and we didn't have a car. richie would bum rides to school and walk to work at mcdonald's everyday from our small one bedroom apartment. 6 years later, we have 3 adorable children, we own our own house, and own 2 cars! richie isn't working at mcdonald's anymore, infact, he has a job working as a mechanic (which is what he is) on oil rigs and his boss' airplanes. life is so good for us right now, and i am so grateful to have come as far as we have!
