Abby's Baby Blessing

We had Abby blessed in church this morning. It was really nice having all of our family (the ones that live close by, anyway) there. I can't believe tomorrow Abby will be 6 weeks old!

it's really cute when these two play well together.

the girls are adjusting well to life with another sister around. it was almost as if nothing changed; there's just one more girl around. they each take turns holding/feeding Abby, and richie makes sure to spend quality time with the girls.

molly still wears some rockin' outfits, although prefers to wear pjs.

jayne especially enjoys feeding abby, and asks to quite often.

My baby girl had a check up yesterday. She weighed 8lb 5oz and was 20 1/2 in. long. She's in the 50 percentile, which makes her my biggest newborn yet! The whole breastfeeding thing has never really worked for me. My babies would pretty much just starve the first month of their life and would lose/not gain any weight. So, with abby, we bottle fed and nursed from the start. Now we're just bottle feeding, and she is doing so well! She has gained about 1 1/2 pounds in 2 weeks, and grown 3/4 in. She's the cutest/happiest little booger, and i think we'll keep her!
