It's always fun when grandma comes!

science day 4: volcanoes

we used little disposable water bottles and covered them in home made play dough to somewhat resemble volcanoes.

we put a little red food coloring inside the bottle, added some baking soda and vinegar, and watched the "lava" spew out.  the kids loved it!
