Since it was Martin Luther King Day today, and the kids got the day off from school to celebrate it, i decided they should probably get to know who he was. So, i looked up some ideas on the internet (because that's what i do), and found some neat ideas!
we read a little about Martin Luther King, Jr and colored a picture of him
we traced and cut out our hands and made a wreath to signify what Martin Luther King's dream was about: uniting everybody as equals.
we made a snack of different foods we had in the pantry and mixed them together.
The kids really enjoyed it, and they got to learn a little about Martin Luther King, Jr. and his incredible efforts.

What a neat activity!
We had issues with our MLK day because I couldn't get my printer to work. So we looked up pics and talked about him and then they played computer games for an hour.
You're such a good Momma!
