the girls dog piling on richieWe had a fun weekend hanging out together. on saturday, i watched a couple of cute little girls for a couple of hours. They really seemed to enjoy dogpiling on richie for the last 30 minutes before they left. he loves it, though, and even crawled around on the floor with atleast 2 kids at a time giving them "horsey" rides. I loved the fact that it was him, and not me doing the crawling around!
Sunday, we had dinner over at my in-laws' house, and the kids enjoyed a swim in their pool (probably one of the last times they will go swimming this summer).
On monday, richie decided he wanted to spend his day off building these wooden boxes on our back driveway. the girls loved handing him screws and playing in the boxes as he built them. we had some friends over for family home evening, and had an awesome lesson on alma the younger! and i made peach crisp for dessert. it was yummy!

My favorite thing about Richie is how he plays with kids. He's awesome. And that's a really cute pic of Lucy. :)
