lucy's preschool graduation

Lucy had her preschool graduation today, and it was really fun to see her and all of her classmates in their caps and gowns! They played the Pomp and Circumstance as they made their way up to the front of the chapel (it's a Methodist preschool), and the kids sang some songs they had learned this year after getting their "diplomas". At one point during the ceremony, Ms. Mara, Lucy's teacher, asked the kids what they enjoyed most about preschool this year and what they wanted to be when they grew up. Lucy said she enjoyed playing and wanted to be a mommy. how cute is that?! They had a reception after the ceremony where they had a really cute cake made up for the kids and parents. It was really neat to be there, and i can't believe that my lucy will be a kindergartner in the fall!

It was adorable! Sorry the diploma pic is so far away. I tried! :)

It's going to be so weird next year. I will hardly see her considering I never see the kids later than 5. I'll miss her!

Can I just tell you how sad I am that Maggie missed out on going to that Preschool? We don't have anything that compares here. She's so cute in her cap and gown!
