we took a trip to the abilene, texas zoo today, and it was pretty eventful. we got lost on the way there. we missed the exit, and ended up driving past abilene and had to turn around and go back. so, after about a 3 hour trip (which should have only been 2), we finally made it to the zoo. the girls had a really good time, and the weather was beautiful. after we were done at the zoo, we played at the nearby park that's called fort imagination. after a couple of hours, we left to go back home, and stopped to have dinner. we got some really cute pics of the girls enjoying their dilly bars, and watching the animals at the zoo. unfortunately, i didn't really get any pics of any of the animals, the camera was malfunctioning, but we all had a really fun, and long, day!

I remember that zoo! It's pretty fun. We liked the aquarium area, because it was really COOL and I was pregnant at the time.

I haven't had a dilly bar for years, but that sounds so good right now! I'll have to go track down a DQ around here. Glad you had fun!
